Visitors:
A few visitors today. Thanks to Cary, Mary, Keith and Tom S for today's
count.
Weather:
Pretty much no wind for the count period and lots of cloud around. Temp
still way to warm hitting a high again today of 26C.
Raptor Observations:
Just 36 birds tallied today... with Osprey (4), N. Harriers (6), Sharpies
(9), Am. Kestrels (16) and a single Merlin.
Non-raptor Observations:
Some non-raptors.... Red-eyed Vireo, Hairy Woodpecker, RT Hummingbirds,
Song Sparrow, Gray Catbirds, Cedar Waxwings, Red-headed Woodpecker, YB
Sapsuckers, Great Blue Heron, N. Flicker, DC Cormorant, WB Nuthatch,
Caspian Tern,
Predictions:
More of the same weather wise I'm afraid, though if the winds stay at all
from the E rather than SE the birds should still try to move through just
not in large numbers.
