Weather: Lots of cloud and threat of rain... but the moderate to strong SW winds made the difference to encourage the Peregrines that were already in the pipe. Raptor Observations: A total of 17 birds today... mostly Peregrines (12) providing some great flybys for those who were onsite today. Other species seen included singles each of N. Harrier, Sharpie and Merlin along with a couple of Am. Kestrels. Non-raptor Observations: Non-raptors reported for the day... DC Cormorants, Am. Crow, Pileated Woodpeckers, Ring-billed and Herring Gull, E. Starling, Am. Robin, White-throated Sparrows, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Black-throated Green Warbler and N. Flicker. Blue Jays today tallied 200.
