I know it was already posted this morning, but I ran into some birders who
were unable to find either. Viewing from the South side is very poor; lots
of haze and the birds are far away. I was able to locate two adult Pacific
Loons with some difficulty from Johnson's Beach at around 2 pm. They were
right in the middle netween the two shores. One bird was almost directly in
front of Minet's Point, so it may have also been visible from there. The
other bird was farther to the right of that, in front of the go train.
Birds were moving, so they are likely in a different location now. I
counted a minimum of 4 Little Gulls, which I located easily from the same
location. They were in with a gull geeding frenzy to the rigjt of where I
was. Good luck!
