Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 6 hours

Official Counter: Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Kory Renaud

Visitors:
Greg and Kory each came up the tower in the afternoon.

Weather:
Quite similar to yesterday, only slightly less rain and wind. Still very
damp and chilly.

Raptor Observations:
Today's flight was quite similar in the way of species-makeup as
yesterdays. Just the end of day totals are significantly lower. Not much
seemed like it really wanted to fly; at least two young Red-shoulders
frequently flew up out of the woods, only to circle in the sky for about a
minute and decide to go back down into the trees. Towards the end of the
count, one did finally migrate past. There was a group of Vultures that
decided to perch in one of the dead trees east of the tower and not migrate
as well, along with a somewhat ratty looking Broad-wing flying the wrong
way.

Non-raptor Observations:
Lots of Kinglets around today. eBird checklist at:
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S39867116

Predictions:
Southwest winds predicted.
