Thanks to those who were out to help with today's count...Bob, Jim, Cary,
Mary, Keith, Bill along with visitors Tristan and Thea Boyd, Suzanne Steed
and Wendy and Randy Taylor.


Weather:
Another great fall day with winds from the SW once again. Not a cloud in
the sky for the whole count period.

Raptor Observations:
A total of 183 birds with TVs (120)... what a difference a couple of days
makes! Also N. Harriers (7), Sharpies (45), Redtails (3), Am. Kestrels (3)
and a single Merlin.

Highlights were the lone Golden Eagle and a few more Peregrines (3) as we
push ever closer to a new record high 1-Year count of this species.

Non-raptor Observations:
For non-raptors...Am. Crow, N. Flickers, Magnolia and Yellow-rumped
Warbler, Canada Geese, BC Chickadee, Eastern Phoebe, E. Starling, YB
Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker, Am. Pipits, Field, Song and White-throated
Sparrows, DE Junco RC Kinglets.

Blue Jay count: 480
Monarch count: 64

Predictions:
More of the same.
