Weather: Another great fall day with winds from the SW once again. Not a cloud in the sky for the whole count period. Raptor Observations: A total of 183 birds with TVs (120)... what a difference a couple of days makes! Also N. Harriers (7), Sharpies (45), Redtails (3), Am. Kestrels (3) and a single Merlin. Highlights were the lone Golden Eagle and a few more Peregrines (3) as we push ever closer to a new record high 1-Year count of this species. Non-raptor Observations: For non-raptors...Am. Crow, N. Flickers, Magnolia and Yellow-rumped Warbler, Canada Geese, BC Chickadee, Eastern Phoebe, E. Starling, YB Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker, Am. Pipits, Field, Song and White-throated Sparrows, DE Junco RC Kinglets.
