Around 5:15 pm today I watched several V's of sandhill cranes flying in
groups of between 8 to almost 100. They were coming from the south somewhere
to the west of Bruce Rd 10 near Tara. I observed them from just south of the
intersection of Hwy 21 and Bruce Rd 10 near Allenford. They continued flying
in a north-northeasterly direction. It may be worthwhile checking tomorrow
in fields near Bruce Rd 10 between Alvanley (Hwy 21) and north toward
Parkhead.

>From Owen Sound head west on Hwy 21 for 15 minutes. Bruce Rd 10 heads north
from a traffic circle at Alvanley. One intersection west on Hwy 21 before
Allenford, Bruce Rd 10 heads south toward Tara.
