The white pelican was still there this morning. It was on a mound in McGeachy Pond Conservation Area. It flew at 10.45 from the pond out to the lake and was last seen moving west.
McGeachy Pond is just before you enter Erieau, Ontario. The highway 40 exit from the 401 is still closed.
