Just a quick note to report that as of early this morning, the Black-throated 
Gray Warbler was still present in the buckthorns along the Ottawa River, 
northwest of the second building of the Britannia Filtration Plant.  It is easy 
to miss though, calling infrequently, and often concealed by the leaves 
remaining on the buckthorns.  It was not associating with any other birds, 
although there were also 2 Golden-crowned Kinglets nearby.


Directions: from the small parking area on Cassels Street at the entrance to 
the filtration plant, walk east along the shrubs lining the river
