Weather:
Today was a beautiful day! Sunshine and warm! Very light southerly winds
greeted us throughout the day, and some haze was present throughout as
well.
Raptor Observations:
A smattering of Red-tails, a couple groups of Turkey Vultures, and a few
odds and ends. The noon-o'clock Golden as well.
Non-raptor Observations:
A huge flock of Aythya sp. was out on the lake in the morning; just a
massive black blob. A bit of non-raptor migration today; 970 American
Crows, 111 Horned Larks, 11 Eastern Bluebirds, 73 American Pipits, 21
Lapland Longspurs, 21 Pine Siskins, and 188 American Goldfinches. A couple
of late birds as well; and Eastern Phoebe and a very late Yellow Warbler!

Predictions:
Moderate south winds throughout the day. Slight chance of rain in the
morning, but building into the afternoon.
