On Friday around 2 PM, there were two groups of cranes - one clearly seen with my binoculars in a formation of 5.
They were not close enough to see crane species - whooping and sandhill sound similar and I could not identify them - too far away. One or two were calling with the distinctive crane cry. Sorry with the delay but I had to identify the sound.
