The Northern Gannet sat on the water until dark today in the location described by Cheryl and Richard!
We got it!!! This breaks Ontario's big year record set in 2012 by Josh Vandermeulen, and it was so great to have three of the four people I mentioned, plus a number of other great friends present for this unbelievable milestone. Pinch me please! I will keep this short but I can't help but thank everyone once again. Thanks especially to Richard for waiting with your scope right next to the parking lot, and thanks to everyone who has waited to help me get my eyes on any birds I've chased this year.
