Not rare, but I just had 4 woodpecker species in Lambton woods at 2:30 pm.
Many downy, 3 Harry, 1 Red Bellied and 1 maybe two Pileated. I had a very good look at one 10 metres in front of me and was hearing one call. Also a brown creeper. I have been expecting for years to see Pileated there. Finally and really close!! They were in the vicinity of the feeders north of the Hemlocks. Lambton woods is off Edgehill Road and Royal York in mid- Etobicoke.
