Late this afternoon I followed an ebird report for two Snow Geese and found two Ross's Geese in a field on Oakes Dr. S. in Grimsby.
>From the QEW take Fifty Road, heading towards the escarpment (away from the >lake), turn left on HWY 8, turn right on Oakes Rd. S. Drive to the very end >of the road. The geese were in a field on the left side, past the end of the >road. The kind homeowner is very excited about these geese and is more than >welcoming to birders who wish to view them. Please be respectful. The home >owner (Gary) told me that he has been seeing them for approx. a week.
