The Tufted Duck was seen by many today from the main lookout in a large group of waterfowl consisting of Greater Scaup, Ruddy Ducks, Red-breasted Mergansers, and other species. The TUDU tended to swim in front of the low-level bridge to the right, roughly between the left abutment and first pillar in the water, diving frequently at times and resting occasionally. At one point, the bird swam toward the lookout with a small group of scaups. The bird was present as of 12 noon.
