At about 2:00 in the afternoon, open water and corn had just been dropped
for the swans.

 

1400 Tundra Swans and more in the fields to the east

 

400 Canada Geese

 

Report of Cackling Geese, but we did not see them

 

In addition: Shovellers Mallards, Hooded Mergansers, a Bald Eagle and five
dark phase Snow Geese.  On the main road leaving the site a Kestrel.

 

On the drive between the Port Stanley Sewage Lagoons and Aylmer Wildlife
Area a Turkey Vulture in the community of Sparta.
