The ice storm seems to have brought in a boat load of Horned Grebes. There
were between 4 - 7 on almost every pond between Port Rowan, and the Second
Concession Road on Lower Sideroad in Norfolk county today. I've never seen so
many grebes!

Other waterfowl observed with the Horned Grebe on other bodies of water were:

Inner Bay

  1.  Common Merganser;
  2.  Lesser Scaup

Lee Brown's pond

  1.  Redhead;
  2.  Double-crested Cormorant;
  3.  Mallard;
  4.  American Wigeon;
  5.  Ring-necked Duck;
  6.  Canada Goose;
  7.  Gadwall

Big Creek Marsh

  1.  Bufflehead

Good birding
