Greetings fellow birders:
My birding friend and I found a lone Snow Bunting foraging among rocks along Chemin Ottawa Road #29 today around 11 am near Waba Dam. It was feeding on seeds from Bladder Campion and White Sweet-clover There was also a breeding pair of Common Goldeneye in an open water area on the frozen lake. Chemin Ottawa Road #29 is about a 10 minute drive south of Arnprior in eastern Ontario. Good birding, Dave Jolly, Tel: 226-926-1470 earthquestATyahoo.com _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
