6 OFO members joined me for the annual late April trip to explore the
Prince Edward County South Shore IBA (
http://ibacanada.org/site.jsp?siteID=ON003).

The weather forecast was very grim, calling for temps just above zero and
rain for most of the morning. We arrived in snow changing to rain, but that
miraculously cleared to just cold and cloudy conditions by the time we got
going. We had a number of highlights including 3 Black Vultures just north
of Point Petre (see eBird checklist for photos) and at least 32 Little
Gulls at Kaiser Crossroad. In total we had 97 species for the day.
