Excellent morning so far with many of yesterday's birds still here and with 
recent arrivals. Winds continued out of the southwest.  Some birds at the Tip 
were involved in a reverse movement but mostly blackbirds. But also INDIGO 
BUNTING and a Few BOBOLINK. 

Highlights included a very cooperative KENTUCKY WARBLER along Tilden Woods in 
the north east corner and a WORM-EATING and CANADA WARBLER were also reported 
at the same site as the aforementioned KENTUCKY. Also a HOODED WARBLER was seen 
in the woods.

A GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER was found just south of the Cactus Field. 

Also several HOODED WARBLERS and two WORM-EATING WARBLERS were seen along the 
seasonal trail north of Pioneer. 

And there was a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT at the north end of Sparrow Field. Also a 
YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO was heard singing north of the Sparrow Field in the Post 
Woods.

On the Woodland Nature Trail there was a PROTHONOTARY WARBLER along Woodland 
Nature Trail at post #12, BLUE-WINGED WARBLER at post #13, and two SUMMER 
TANAGERS, one at tram loop north end and one along W.N.T north of Redbud 
Footpath. A WHITE-EYED VIREO was noted between bridge C and D.

The  Tip area had YELLOW-THROATED and WHITE-EYED VIREO and GOLDEN-WINGED 
WARBLER. 

A predawn walk to the Tip produced a calling GREAT HORNED OWL, WHIP-POOR-WILL 
and 8 AMERICAN WOODCOCK.

A total of 24 species of warbler have been reported this morning including more 
BLACKBURNIAN, BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLERS and AMERICAN REDSTART and OVENBIRD.
