Festival of Flight May 13th Afternoon Report Log Pond and the beginning of Harrison Trail continue to be the best locations for birding this afternoon, with several warblers species present.
Canada Warbler along with 9 other species of warblers were seen at the Maintenance Loop. The Summer Tanager continues to show well on Water St south of Marsh Trail. A Least Bittern was seen on Marsh Trail 1km up near the old location of the observation tower. White-winged Scoters were seen flying from Beach Access 2 along with a Red-throated Loon. A Great-black Backed Gull was also seen at Beach Access 10 swimming. Join us from May 1st until the 20th for the Festival of Flight!
