Two flocks of Whimbrel were noted at TTP this evening (6-8 PM). 8 birds were on the beach immediately east of Cell 3. Another flock of approximately 150 flew west over the Spit between Cell 2 and the base. A further flock of about 50-60 large shorebirds ( just out of bin-range) circled out from Bluffers Park and disappeared eastwards.
