With recent rains, there is now a large pond on Woodbine beach at Ashbridges
Bay (not as big as last year). It should attract shorebirds and yesterday
there were two Sanderling among the gulls.

The beach is accessed from Lakeshore Boulevard East at the foot of Coxwell
Street. Off Lakeshore, turn south on Ashbridges Bay Park Road and from the
parking lot at the end, heading east will bring you to the beach and the
pond.
