I drove to the NW end of Outlet Beach and scanned the gulls with my bins. No Avocets, unfortunately. Further along down the private beach I saw a few shorebirds which I think were Sanderlings, but I don’t have a scope. We are on the beach for the day and I’ll update if the Avocets reappear.
