The bird disappeared for almost three hours but was refound at 11:10 by Barb Crowell. She found it about 85m along the trail on the right hand side near its usual roosting spot. This is directly across from the gray cottage with vertical boards and the Natural Restoration sign. It caught and swallowed a frog to the delight of the 18 birders present. Last seen at 11:30 going into the willow, presumably to digest its meal.
