It may be of interest to those who have already driven for the Calliope Hummingbird that the Western Grebe at Bright’s Grove is still present off of Cow Creek. See directions below. It is swimming in a raft w/ merganser and Redhead. Scope recommended.
Directions: >From 402 westbound, get off on Mandaumin Rd and head north. Go stright >through/around the roundabout, and turn left at the first stop sign onto Old >Lakeshore Rd. 6-700m down the road there is a bridge going over Cow Creek, and >once you pass it continue to the second road on the left (Centre Ave). There >are several beach accesses from this point.
