The 69th Long Point Christmas Bird Count was held December 15. A complete
report will be forthcoming, but the unofficial total for the day was 119
species - tying the all-time high.

Ross and Graham Wood found a Northern Waterthrush at the Port Rowan Wetlands -
associating with a small creek just north of the wetlands.

Brett Fried, Erika Hentsch, Nicole Richardson, Janice Chard, and Barb Charlton,
discovered a Western Kingbird on private property in the Turkey Point area.
Unfortunately there is no public access. Permission to visit the site was only
granted for this small group of volunteers conducting the CBC.
