We had a SBGU fly over in a large flock of mixed gulls while we were parked outside the entrance of the Brantford Landfill. We had originally checked at Mohawk Lake, but there were no birds presence there. We then drove to the dump entrance and after a short wait had a large flock fly over and we were able to pick out a SBGU. The flock circled for some time over both sides of Morrison Road. This was at about 2:30 pm.
