Ontbirds subscribers: I have just heard the word that parking along the north side of Parkway is no longer a good idea. A resident is losing his cool over all the parking traffic, regardless of whatever explanation he receives in terms of why there's a sudden uptick in visitors to the area. He apparently called a tow truck service in an attempt to tow one of the vehicles. Keep in mind that parking IS allowed on this street and, to my knowledge, no one was blocking thru-way access on this street. So, in this case, let's just avoid further aggravating this resident; our approach here should be "the customer (resident) is always right!" If you're attempting to park along the N side of Iris, try Gateway Road, which is about 100 meters to the west of Parkway. Alternatively, there is ample parking available slightly east of the transitway, along Adirondack Drive.
The latest sighting was yet again another brief one, this time at 9:55 AM. Good birding, Jon _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
