Rondeau Festival of Flight May 2nd Morning Report

Some new arrivals this morning with good diversity and number of birds spread 
out across the park. Least Flycatchers, Blackburnian. Black-throated blue, 
Black-throated green, Pine, and Black and White Warblers are showing strong 
numbers today.

Two Hooded Warblers were spotted at Warbler Way this morning along with 14 
other warbler species. A Blackpoll Warbler was seen on Tulip Tree Trail to 
finish the morning with an excellent 16 species of warblers.

Also, note worthy is the hyper-abundance of White-throated Sparrows that have 
descended on Rondeau.

The south end of Harrison Trail, South Point, and Marsh Trail are extremely wet 
and flooded in parts, tall boots are recommended.
