12:16 p.m. About twenty minutes ago, no more, I saw a Common Raven sitting, as though a crow or Red-tail, on a lamp standard at the corner of 9th Line and Highway 407, Markham.
I don't imagine ravens are any more particularly reportable (saw one in central Markham a couple of days ago, I get the subjective impression of a steady increase) but that's the first I've seen one around here acting with the same boldness we see in them elsewhere, so thought I'd mention it.
