Cassin's finch has been seen twice in the same location as
yesterday(Vineland research Station). It seems to be hanging around.
Today it was very wet and perching in the Rhododendrons and seen on the
grass before it disappeared from view. All times it has been seen low to
the ground. Second opinions on what species this bird is would be
appreciated. It is solitary, and it is not a Purple Finch and is not a
House Finch. What finch is it?Location in yesterday's post, exit
Victoria Avenue off QEW at Vineland. It was seen at 2:30pm and 3:30pm.
