We are having a great day weather wise and the birding is fairly steady. The 
winds were calm but there was still a bit of reverse movement, involving a 
number of orioles, blackbirds and a few warblers, including a PROTHONOTARY and 
a HOODED. 
Near the Sparrow Field there was a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, and an ACADIAN 
FLYCATCHER was located along the main road just north of Sparrow Field. 
Along Post Woods people noted a YELLOW-THROATED VIREO. 
There was a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT reported a few hundred metres south of the 
halfway Tram stop along the West Beach seasonal trail.
There are at least 7 PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS noted on the Woodland Nature Trail, 
including several females. 
A BLUE-WINGED WARBLER was spotted near the Visitor Centre, and another in the 
West Beach Parking Lot near the washrooms.
A CERULEAN WARBLER was reported from the trail leading to the West Beach 
seasonal trail from the Half-way Tram Stop. Another was seen near the north end 
of Redbud Trail on the Woodland Nature Trail.
RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS have been reported from Woodland Nature Trail, just 
south of the Visitor Centre and from Tilden Woods.
A BREWSTER'S WARBLER has been found just south of White Pine Picnic area on the 
West Beach seasonal trail.
Farther north, a MOURNING WARBLER and a KENTUCKY WARBLER, were noted at Pioneer 
Picnic area. 
A GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER was seen on the seasonal trail north from the Sanctuary 
Picnic area.
