I am somewhat speechless to have discovered a Prothonotary Warbler this evening in London. It is an adult male and provided very good unhindered views for about 20 mins. He was still there when I left.

He flew off across the river. I went back a few minutes later and he was there again. It bodes well for him to stay overnight. I last saw him about 30 minutes before sunset. He was foraging in the fallen cedar tree. Other notable warblers this evening Northern Parula Blackburnian high up in cottonwoods I hope others get a chance to see him, Best Mark _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
