Hi OntBirders, My apologies for the lack of info in my report.
The Pelican was observed by my nephew Daniel Fisher, a non-birder with lots of experience seeing Brown Pelicans in Florida and Mexico, and his girlfriend. At roughly 11:00am the bird was seen flying in a southwest direction over Thorncliffe Mall, which is in the Leaside / Thorncliffe Park area of Toronto.
