Deryl Nethercott messaged me just now to say that the American White Pelicans
are back on Lake Chipican in Canatara Park, Sarnia.

Last Sunday/Monday (16/17 June), 2 pelicans were in L. Chipican and flew around
0915 Monday. 2 pelicans were then spotted 1 hour later in Kettle Point, ON,
just up the Lake Huron shoreline. Then, around midweek 2 pelicans were spotted
in Tiny Marsh (I believe) near Georgian Bay. I'd be curious to hear if the
Pelicans are still at Tiny Marsh (i.e. these Canatara pelicans are different
ones) or if they are now gone (i.e. maybe these two Canatara pelicans are the
same ones that have flown up and down the Huron/Georgian Bay shoreline this
week).

Anyway, to get to Canatara Park (and avoid the construction that may or may not
still be happening):

>From ON-402 Westbound

- Take exit 3 toward Indian Road

- Turn right on Indian Road

- Turn left on Cathcart Boulevard

- Take Cathcart Blvd all the way into Canatara Park, park at the animal farm

- Trail entrance around Lake Chipican will be nearby

Good birding, and enjoy the nice weather that we finally are getting!
