Tom B., Chris B., Jim D., Mary C., Keith S along with several visitors. Weather: Started with a lot of clouds in the morning and then opening up a bit with sun mixed with clouds and good moderate NW winds for the day. Temp was a comfortable range of 15C to 19C by the end of the count. Raptor Observations: Today proved to be quite good for this early in the season with a total of 170 birds for the day. The bulk of today's flight was Sharpies (78) and Kestrels (63) along with Osprey (2), Bald Eagles (3), N. Harriers (6), Cooper's Hawk (2), our first Broadwings (14) and a couple of Merlins. Non-raptor Observations: None reported. Will mention that there were quite a few Monarchs today. Predictions: More winds from the N for Sunday with a mix of sun and cloud.
