Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 12:00:00
Total observation time: 3.5 hours

Official Counter: Kevin Georg

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Don Sherwood, John Elliot, Mark Hainan,
                  Rosemary Brady

Visitors:
Yes we had visitors but not anything to show them. We did talk with them
since they were relatively new to the site and we didn't want them thinking
that all days were like this. They will be back.

Weather:
Just waiting for the rain to start was the vibe today. I think three days
of carbon copy weather was enough for all. Change will bring more birds on
the backside of it. the barometer was slowly falling today but the eastern
wind persisted. A cool wind on a partly sunny day at the beginning going to
a full heavy overcast layer by the early end.

Raptor Observations:
Two sharpies! I think we had worked that vein of easterly winds for three
days and it was mined out. This system arrived a little earlier than
predicted and we were too close to the bad weather to get any flight this
morning. The system will need to clear our area.

Non-raptor Observations:
Our resident adult bald eagles had flight displays close to us again today.
Great fun to watch these acrobatic birds slice and dice.

Predictions:
Tomorrow looks to be a very good day. If you look at midnight to 0800.
Winds would have a little north to them and a rising barometer. From that
point on however, not so good as the winds go more WSW and SW is not our
best wind.
