The long staying Varied Thrush made a late appearance this morning on at
the Bark Lake conference centre feeders. We arrived at 8:50 people said it
had not been seen earlier and we didn’t see the bird until 11:20. It
dropped to the ground for several feeding over 20-30 minutes, then flew to
the taller trees on the other side of the road from the conference centre.

Driving conditions are worsening by the minute so take care if your coming
to see the bird.

See previous posts for directions.

Good Birding,
Rick and Felix
