Hello all,

For anyone planning to visit the hawk owl (now called Logito), please
remember to follow the rules in place to ensure the owl's and viewer's
safety.

Unfortunately, there were reports from several sources that people were
going off path, getting too close to the owl and preventing it from
retrieving its prey, and even ripping down the no parking signs. And, those
who reminded others about the rules were harassed.

This is a wonderful bird but viewing and photographing it is a privilege.
Please, respect the needs of the owl for space, don't trample the
incredible marsh and be considerate of the town and its residents who are
going out of their way to provide access to the owl.

Good birding,

Lynne Freeman
