My sister and I saw three purple sandpipers and a Dunlin on the beach at Owen Point today. I presume these are the same ones seen in recent weeks, but I hadn’t seen any postings about them in the past few days, so I wondered if they had left.
Directions: go south from 401 Brighton/Campbellford exit and follow the signs to the park. Drive to the parking for the Park Store. Walk past the park store to the Owen Point Trail sign and go left. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
