In order to discourage non-essential travel, and in the interests of self-isolation or physical distancing, effective immediately the OFNC will not be reporting any further information on bird sightings until the measures to control COVID-19 have eased. We encourage all birders to cease real-time reporting to all platforms of any birds they happen to observe incidentally, and only make sightings public after the current public health crisis has passed.
