Posted with permission of the OFO Board and Ontbirds Coordinator. If you choose
to go birding, please follow federal, provincial and municipal guidelines
regarding COVID-19 as restrictions on non-essential travel, physical distancing
and party size are still in effect and subject to change.

Birders:

I have recently had it confirmed that the Blenheim Sewage Lagoons are once
again, available for birders to access. A permit is required, as always.

Please send a request for a permit to:
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>. In due course, you will
receive a blank form to complete, sign and return to the municipal office. The
permit will include details on how to access the lagoons with respect to the
lock combination, etc.

I have been advised by my municipal contact that:
-due to the ongoing and developing issues with COVID-19, local establishments
may not be available;
-anyone accessing the lagoons must do so as an individual or a very small group
not to exceed 5 persons and it is imperative to practice social distancing.

Good birding, and stay safe!
