I just spotted a Swallow-tailed Kite flying over sturgeon woods campground, seen from Pelee Wings Store between Leamington and Point Pelee. It is about 500m inland from the lake and heading toward the park now. No doubt the same bird seen by a couple observers yesterday in PPNP. This is on Point Pelee Drive in Essex County.
Jeremy Bensette Leamington Side note: we will be hosting a few guided morning birding experiences through Pelee Wings at the end of this month if anyone is interested!
