Ontbirds subscribers, While lake-watching through the rain and wind, I just had two Cattle Egrets fly past my house on Crystal Beach Boulevard at Thickson's Woods. They headed west past Thickson Point. They should be watched for at the Durham marshes.
Thickson Point is reached from the trailhead at the cul-de-sac parking area at the southern terminus of Thickson Road South, 2 km south of exit 412 from Highway 401.
