Hi Folks..   My apologies for the delay. But, this pm  I found what appears to
be a very good candidate for a SLATY-BACKED Gull (adult), in south Mississauga
It was located on a pebbly/sandy shoal at the mouth of the Cooksville Creek,
just west of the RK McMillan Park parking lot. Will submit OBRC report.
Beware that people walk on the shoal and put up all the gulls.
Directions:  There is a great deal of construction/paving on Lakeshore Bld east
of Cawthra Rd. so, probably it is best to go:  QEW south on Hurontario (Hiway
#10) to Lakeshore Bld; Left or east on Lakeshore to Hampton Crescent, just past
the Cooksville Creek, South on Hampton Cr. to RK McMillan Parking lot. Walk
west tomouth of the creek, gulls will sit on pebbly shoal at the mouth of the
creek.
Cheers
