When new tweets are received, the launcher icon shows a badge with the
number of unread tweets available. However, upon opening Birdie and
scrolling through the list of unread tweets, the badge is not always
updated or removed when all tweets have been read.
Running Birdie from daily ppa on Ubuntu Precise 64 bit using elementary-
os daily ppa.
