E-Bird tip from the local reviewers:

We had record numbers of Carolina Wren and Red-bellied Woodpecker in Ottawa
this winter. Some are hanging around and now is the time to look for
breeding evidence; freshly fledged Carolinas are already being seen! If you
do find either of these breeding please report them to e-Bird and to the
Atlas.

The DND property at Shirley's Bay is now restricted to official business
only. If this changes in the future, there will be an announcement.
