Weather: The temp held steady at 13C. The wind was robust (about 35 km/h) and S to begin, strengthening to 40 km/h SSW with occasional gusts to 60 km/h. Cloud coverage was layered but 100% throughout, with scattered light showers. Raptor Observations: Was it a Peregrine day? Yes. Was it a Peregrines day? No. One adult male blasted by at exactly 2pm. One American Kestrel hovered nearby for awhile beforehand. And that was that. Non-raptor Observations: Non-raptors were: Canada Goose, Ring-billed Gull, Herring Gull, Bonaparteâs Gull, and Double-crested Cormorant.
