Ed Stebbins of Port Perry has a White-winged Dove visiting his feeders and has graciously allowed interested birders to come and see it. It was first seen May 11 and continues today (May 15).
Here are the rules: 1. Parking is available on the street. Please be sure not to block traffic (including driveways) and be mindful of the local community. You may be the first birder they encounter and first impressions are important! 2. Access is ONLY between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. 3. You can access the backyard (and feeder area) via the path along the right side of the house (when facing the house from the street). You are welcome to sit in the lawn chairs. 4. If you see a donation jar and guestbook, please leave a donation and sign it. 5. The address is 16 Chimney Hill Way in Port Perry.
