King Eider (Toronto): The young male that has been off Tommy Thompson Park was photographed on June 6. Eared Grebe (Rainy River): There were as many as four birds at the Rainy River Sewage Lagoons this week with sightings to at least June 5. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Essex): Wally Sampson found two birds at Hillman Marsh on June 5 that were seen by many that day. BLACK-NECKED STILT (Middlesex): The two birds found by Bill Lindley at Strathroy Sewage Lagoons on May 12 remained again all week. Ruff (Essex): The bird found late on May 31 at Hillman Marsh remained through June 4. Red-necked Phalarope (Rainy River): The OFO field trip group had one bird at the Rainy River Sewage Lagoons on June 3. Red-necked Phalarope (Timiskaming): Andrew Davis reported one at North Cobalt sewage lagoons on June 5. Willet (Prescott and Russell): One bird was at Alfred Sewage Lagoon on June 3-4. Willet (Thunder Bay): Pegg and Mark Campbell photographed one at the Terrace Bay beach on June 5. Laughing Gull (Ottawa): Al Caughey found one on June 6 on Cambrian Rd and it was refound on June 7 at the Moodie Drive Quarry. Franklin's Gull (Prescott and Russell): Christopher Cloutier photographed an adult at Ile du Chenail on June 9, it was reportedly first found on June 8 when it was being fed by locals. Arctic Tern (Ottawa): Mark Gawn reported one off Britannia on June 6. TRICOLORED HERON (Chatham-Kent): Jackie and Allan Sharpe found and photographed one off the Erieau Marsh Trail on June 6 that was subsequently seen by many observers most of the next day (June 7). Cattle Egret (Durham): Peter Musselman found one in a field north of Pickering on June 4. Glossy Ibis (Lennox and Addington): The three birds found at the Martin Edwards Reserve on Amherst Island on June 2 by Ben Di Labio remained to June 5. Western Kingbird (Rainy River): Colleen Reilly found one on June 3 on River Road that disappeared shortly after. Lark Sparrow (Kenora): Caleb Scholtens found one at Miminiska Lodge on June 8. Nelson's Sparrow (Thunder Bay): Pegg and Mark Campbell photographed one at the Terrace Bay Sewage Lagoons on June 5. Nelson's Sparrow (Timiskaming): Andrew Davis reported a singing bird at Hilliardton Marsh on June 5.
